Finally @ Home on Dreamhost

So, all ties to wiserhosting are broken and xtracold is happily settling in on the Dreamhost servers. The migration of the wordpress database and content files led me to some uncharted territory (for me anyway). Modification of the sql tables for example, or the use of ssh on the server. Some issues en route, but now everything seems to be functional. Let the posting begin...

Future updates now that I am on Dreamhost might well include

- configuring the svn repository and development subdomain again
- adding trac or JIRA somehow, so I can record what does/doesn't work, improvements etc
- perhaps mess around with Gallery3 instead of using picasa
- improve front page in theme
- improve gallery post-type to include thumbnails, secure galleries etc
- upload the perl tools to the tech section

etc etc etc....
